The two skyscrapers, located on Marijin Dvor, are the two highest building in the city. Before the war the citizens called the buildings by the names of two famous characters from Sarajevo jokes, Momo and Uzeir. The names are of different national origin and since the buildings were of equal height they symbolized the Sarajevo brotherhood and unity. Nobody knew which one was Momo and which one Uzeir, so the aggressors destroyed both.
